I think this is one of the sadest stories I have ever heard. People actually bullied this poor girl to death!!! Its so aggrevating to think of this sort of thing. Even worse, this kind of thing doesn't happen every once and awhile, bullying like this happens all the time. I wonder if things would have been different if this girl wouldn't have been an Irish immigrant. Even more, if she had not had a relationship with the high school senior quarterback. In addition, if she had had some sort of friend with her when everyone was harrasing her.
All the same I can think of multiple people that attend my school that could have easily bullied someone like this. Did these boys and girls know what they were getting themselves into? Did they know that they could have a lawsuit against them, kill an innocent girl, and make a hard working family move out of their long memoired town? I am pretty sure everyone has at one time bullied another human being, maybe even without knowing it. Could these accidental incidents actually kill innocent teenagers?
Very interesting story, I will be following this one closely.

Project Citizen
In my honors history class we are doing something called project citizen. Project citizen is a contest that takes normal everyday students and helps them change a policy within their community. Then congressman from the students state look over each students task and rates each project from a scale of one to ten depending on how well the project was presented, and how efficiently the student took care of the task. The group of students that wins gets an all expense payed trip to Washington D.C. to talk to members of the cabinet about their project.
My group of students decided to attack a project on water conservation in the Heber Valley. Our problem is that most people do not know about watering times, and when they should water their lawns. Most people are not aware that watering your lawn anytime between ten o'clock and two o'clock fries your lawn, and wastes water.

Spread the word and do our survey on the side bar of our blog. Thanks!

2010 BYU schedule
I am so happy! The 2010 BYU football schedule has just come out. That means the happiest time of the year is at hand. Football season. Unfortunately we will not be getting season tickets. Hopefully, we will still get to watch a few games on our TV instead of listening to them on the radio. Ha ha that would be a nice change. I will be posting the link for the new football schedule shortly.
P.S. Since I am already on the sports topic, I thought I would also mention who I think is going to win the whole shabang in the NCAA. I don't know if they can pull it off, but I'm rooting for Butler!
